Report Card: Grading Manchester City’s defenders so far

John Stones: A

Where would City be without John Stones? Surely City’s best defender on the ball this season, a requirement in the Guardiola system, Stones has been wonderful this season. Now, while there’s has been a mistake here or there, the positives Stones brings to the team far outweigh his minor issues. Considering the Englishman is only 24 and City supporters are salivating when thinking about how good Stones can be working under Pep for the next couple of years.
