Bacary Sagna: C+

A slightly higher grade for City’s other French defender. Unfortunately Bacary Sagna has had an injury issue for the majority of the last month or so. Before his injury Sagna was never a guarantee for making the starting XI. Last year Sagna was also relied on quite heavily, and early on this year, Guardiola has seen the benefit of rotating, especially his older players. Once Sagna returns, expect he and Pablo Zabaleta to continue to split starts.
