On paper, Manchester City boasts way more talent than recently-promoted Middlebrough. Take a look and see if any of Boro’s players make our combined starting XI ahead of their weekend showdown. We’ll use a 4-2-3-1.
Goalkeeper: Claudio Bravo
This one was tough. Claudio Bravo hasn’t been impressive since arriving at Manchester City. But he did replace now-Boro starter Victor Valdes at Barcelona. However, Boro has more clean sheets than City this season. Decisions, decisions. We’re biased — sorry — so we’ll give the slight edge to our man, Bravo.
