First Midfielder: Fernandinho

This is where Manchester City run away with the line-up. Right now United to not have any midfielders that can make it into this starting four. Let that sink in. Rooney is in decline and Pogba has been a massive disappointment so far. They were banking on 5 to 7 assists by now, not zero.

Fernandinho gets the opening spot, based on his hustle and by leading the team in passes this year. He will stay home and clean up and opposition along with the back two as the backs move into the attack.
