Third Central Midfielder: Ilkay Gundogan

The German international who was brought in from Borussia Dortmund in the summer is finally making moves with the first team. He has valuable skill and has built a good chemistry with some of the other City midfielders.

He, like Silva, isn’t afraid to shoot when open and can always find an open target on the field. I feel with more playing time under Pep, he will only become a better player at Manchester City.
