First Central Midfielder: Fernandinho

The Brazilian is a must in the side due to his work ethic and his ability to shut down opposition attackers. He can also strike a long-range effort pretty sweetly at times too. Southampton has Romeu who plays with the same intensity as Fernandinho but isn’t on the skill level.

If he stays back defensively he does a great job helping the team and if he attacks he can take on defenders one-on-one.
