30th minute – Otamendi misses on another diving tackle resulting in a yellow card and a free kick right outside the box. Bravo makes the save.

The half ends 0-0, with 55% possession to Barca, and no shots on target for City.

Second Half

  • 55th minute – Saurez scored, great footwork by Messi to set it up (0-1) 
  • 59th Substitutes: Gomes and Umtiti in for Iniesta & Roberto, while City send in Sane for Sterling.
  • 70th minute – Great build up between Sane and Aguero that led to a Noltio chance and goal (1-1), only the second shot on goal for City
  • 83rd minute Rakitic goes out and is replaced by Turan for Rakitic
  • Gomes is injured in the 85th, leading Barca a man down having used all three subs. City sub in Gundogan for Silva and Fernando for Fernandinho.
  • 92nd minute – Pique had a wide open chance to win the match, but fails to land the shot on target.
