Manchester City continue their Premier League campaign against Everton this Saturday. Both teams boast a lot of talent, but who makes the combined starting XI?

Manchester City and Everton meet up for their first clash of the season this Saturday afternoon. After playing four rousing games last year, Everton might look for a measure of revenge after being eliminated in the League Cup semifinals by the sky blues.

Man City will be looking to bounce back after a tumultuous week leading into the international break. After drawing 3-3 with Celtic in the Champions League the Cityzens were picked apart by Tottenham losing 2-0.

The international break brought a nice pause and a bit of a rest for some members of the squad. Much needed in many cases and desperately wanted in others, the break could prove vital to City’s continued success.

Both City and Everton have world class players at their disposal, picking a combined starting XI is quite tough as many talented players were left out. In the end I’ve decided the best way to get the most out of the players available is to play a 4-1-2-1-2 diamond formation. Only players currently available will be chosen (so no Kevin De Bruyne) and form at the moment counts!
