Jacob Davenport
Jacob Davenport has been earning plaudits for years at youth level. A very impressive, tenacious defensive midfielder, Davenport plays with his heart on his sleeve every game.
The Englishman has a perfect reading of the game and a great eye for a pass. Equally adept at running the game from the base of midfield as breaking up attacks with a well-timed tackle.
Davenport is reminiscent of former Manchester City midfield ace Gareth Barry.
