The Belgian defender has been a rock at the back as long as he’s fit and in Spurs’ squad.

Alderweireld is a fantastic defender, with the skills to play both in the center or out right. For Spurs he traditionally plays in the middle, so that’s where we’ll deploy him. A partnership of Aldeweireld and Otamendi would keep their fair share of clean sheets.
