Manchester City travel to White Hart Lane in an enormous clash Sunday afternoon. Which eleven players between both squads makes up the best team?

Manchester City have one of their toughest tests in this early Premier League season this Sunday. Traveling to White Hart Lane is never easy, and many City supporters will remember the 4-1 thumping the Blues received in this fixture last season.

Both teams will be without one of their top talents. Man City will be missing Kevin De Bruyne, while Tottenham will most likely be without Harry Kane. Despite these two injuries, both sides have world-class talent in their respective starting XI’s.

If Potchettino and Guardiola were selecting the best eleven from their respective squads, this is a potential starting lineup. Since Manchester City are ahead in the table we’ll use their preferred formation of 4-1-4-1. We’ll start with the goalkeeper and work our way forward.

Hugo Lloris

The spot in goal was probably the toughest choice out of all XI positions.

Both Hugo Lloris and Claudio Bravo are world-class keepers, but Lloris has the slight edge in shot stopping.

At the end of the day Lloris keeps the ball out of the net more than Bravo, so for the combined XI we have Lloris in net.
