Jason Denayer

Manchester City have big plans for Jason Denayer. The question is however, does the Belgian want to be a part of them? A lack of first team opportunities saw Denayer attempt to force through a return to Galatasaray, following last season’s loan spell. Guardiola was keen on keeping Denayer in the first team squad, but eventually compromised. The 21 year-old joins EPL rivals Sunderland on loan.

Fellow young Belgian Mathias Bossaerts also departed the club, completing a permanent transfer to K.V. Oostende.
