Joe Hart

Perhaps the most surprising exit from Manchester City this summer. Fan favourite Joe Hart‘s 10-year stint with The Blues came to an end this summer. A seeming reluctance to play the role of “sweeper-keeper” saw the England No.1 forced out to Italian club Torino. Hart enjoyed one final, teary-eyed send-off during City’s recent Champions League victory of Steaua Bucharesti.

Meanwhile, ex-England international Richard Wright announced his retirement at the ripe old age of 38. Academy keeper Charlie Albinson also failed to earn a new deal.
