Nolito

City agreed to meet the £13.8 million buyout clause in the contract of 29-year-old Spanish star Nolito of Celta Vigo.

A consistently impressive performer in La Liga, Nolito represents shrewd business. He adds another dimension to a Manchester City attack that was overly reliant on Sergio Aguero last season.

The pacy wide-man has already gone someway to repaying his fee, with an impressive haul of 3 goals in 4 starts this season.

Furthermore, it was Guardiola who gave Nolito his first start whilst the pair were at Barcelona.
