Kevin De Bruyne

De Bruyne has not yet found the scintillating form of last season just yet, but with a busy summer at the European Championships, I don’t think many expected last season’s form so early in the season. However, this does not mean that his performances have been bad. The Belgian played well and was vital towards getting City on the attack. He also found himself in some defensive situations where he coped very well and got City on the counter. His passing seemed slightly out of touch, however it will get better as he settles into the new campaign. A sublime ball to Nolito for his first goal in a City shirt was the highlight of De Bruyne’s game, however relatively quiet for his standards.
