El Mago seemed to back to his usual, magical self last night. His ability to keep hold of the ball and wait to pick the perfect pass is incredible and was truly on show last night. Sometimes the execution of the final pass wasn’t quite right however it seemed to be more ‘early season rustiness’ than anything. There were also a few times where City fans would’ve been screaming at the TV for him to shoot. However we know that is what David Silva is renowned for, in addition to his pinpoint accurate passing and magical build up play, we know he is going to leave shooting to someone more experienced (I think we all know who I’m talking about). If it wasn’t for the rustiness, it would’ve been a near flawless performance.
