Wow what a two sided performance for this man last night. His game seemed to have been ruined by two penalty misses in 20 minutes – one being saved and one blazed over the crossbar. However, Aguero seemed to have turned his game around when he neatly slotted home City’s second goal of the game just before half time. This was the point where he seemed to get his confidence back and this confidence was what led him to score two more goals and bag himself his eighth hat trick in a City shirt. Some beautiful link up play with Nolito allowed Aguero to get away from his marker and drive a shot into the bottom corner, before sealing his deserved hat trick late in the game. A multifaceted performance however and outstanding one nonetheless.
