David Silva

El Mago, or the magician as he is known in the blue half of Manchester, will surely be a major part in Pep’s plans for next season. The 15/16 campaign was one to forget for Silva by his standards, with him being much less effective than previous seasons. This was mainly due to the recurrence of an ankle injury suffered earlier on in the season, which never allowed him to fully make his mark on the Premier League. However, some impressive displays at Euro 2016 showed the world the real David Silva and displayed signs of getting back to his best. His pinpoint accurate passing will always be a benefit to any team, as well as his ability to read the game and his magical dribbling capabilities. I’m sure Pep is grateful to have him in his squad.
