Kevin De Bruyne

The fantastic Belgian’s performances at Euro 2016 earned him a place in the Team of the Tournament. In addition to this, his Manchester City debut season was as impressive as the likes of club legend Sergio Aguero. His first City campaign saw him finish as the Citizen’s second top scorer however it was not just the goals that impressed. It was the overall way he graced the pitch. Until his injury at the end of January, Kevin De Bruyne was one of the brightest sparks of the City team and it was no coincidence that City’s performances slumped once he got injured. However, after the ten week break with a knee ligament injury, he was back in the thick of the goals against Bournemouth where he scored and played one of the best games of the season. Pep Guardiola will inspire the best performances from the Belgium star and I’m sure the best is yet to come.
