Man City boss Pep Guardiola stuns a young City fan in an adorable first episode of Pep’s Taxi.
Manuel Pellegrini won the 2013 – 2014 Premier League title, two League cups, and was generally liked by most of the players and fans during his tenure at Man City. However, the pedigree and charm of new boss Pep Guardiola brings a new level excitement and relate-ability for the fan base. As part of the pre-season build up Man City TV has launched a new web series called Pep’s Taxi in which the manager surprises City fans and takes a ride around town with them.
Episode 1 sees Pep meet young fan Braydon Bent who at first thinks maybe it is a joke or a look-a-like. However, Braydon soon settles in with his new friend to discuss winning trophies, his position on the pitch and Messi. Have a look.
It is great to see the manager of any club, especially one as big at Man City get out and interact with the local fans. The producers clearly picked the right fan to kick off the series, and Braydon quickly shows off that he is quite the knowledgeable City fan. No word on how often they will run this series, but it is a great idea and a huge treat for some local Man City fans.
