Is it possible that Sergio Aguero could return to Manchester City in better form than he is currently enjoying after a summer competing for Argentina in the Copa America?

Sergio Aguero has been in rampant form in front of goal in 2015.  The Argentina International has scored eight goals in his last six games for Manchester City.  The star striker has been on the brink of emerging as one of the best strikers on the planet, but has seen his rise to stardom halted by several injuries in previous seasons.  A relatively healthy campaign has seen Aguero lead the Barclays Premier League in scoring and carry the Citizens to second place in the Barclays Premier League table.

The opportunity for Aguero to pair up with some of the best players on the planet will provide the stage for the player to bring his game to a much higher level.  Aguero has been one of the few bright spots for Manchester City this season.  The primary goal scorer has been forced to carry the load for the team, in both the UEFA Champions League and Premier League.  However, playing with the best players in the world could give Aguero the confidence to establish himself as one of football’s elite.

This summer, Aguero will look to lead Argentina to a Copa America trophy.  Argentina will be one of the favorites to win the competition, after reaching the final of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.  Aguero will play a key role in the success of the side, but he will not be the only star in the squad.

The Daily Mail reports that the squad will include superstars of the sport including Lionel Messi, Angel Di Maria, and Javier Pastore.  The opportunity for Aguero to play alongside arguably the best footballer on the planet will only serve to enhance the abilities of the Manchester City star.  If the combination of Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero can live up to the lofty expectations, Argentina could be well on their way to a Copa America title.

Sergio Aguero has struggled to get a consistent run of games without injury.  It appears that the player will finish the 2015 season in good health and will transition smoothly into the Copa America.  Sergio Aguero will be able to build his confidence and continue his ascent into the elite level of footballers on the planet.  It is hard to imagine, but next year’s version of Sergio Aguero could be even better.
