With Just 5 Premier League Games to Go – The Race is On For the Title

There are just 15 points to play for in the Premier League season and quite simply if City win all of those points then they will finish top, becoming the first team to retain the title in 10 years. To achieve back to back titles by amassing 198 points in two seasons would cement the side as the very best team to have ever played in the League.

However, the games which remain are daunting. To be fair to Liverpool they are in the position they are in having played some of these matches already, so the balance may well be in their favour in their heads. But as we slowly take three points from each remaining game the pressure on Liverpool will mount. And as the games start to run out and points start to add up we will see what the race does to their heads.

City face Spurs at home on Saturday and then Manchester United away next Wednesday. Two wins from these games will break Liverpool’s hearts because it is clear from social media they are following and watching every step as we take it.

We conclude our April fixtures with an away trip to Burnley, but by then they should have nothing to play for. Their future in the League will be secure. Our last home game of the campaign takes place on Saturday 4 May against Brendan Rodgers Leicester City. They will be desperate to cause an upset and this will be a hard match. Our season ends much like last year on the South coast as we take on Brighton in a replay of the FA Cup Semi Final.
