Portugal:

Like Ilkay, I think Bernardo could do with major minutes for his side. The European sides seem to be staying in Europe, which is something at least.
Hosting Saudi Arabia on Friday before the USA on Tuesday, it will be interesting to see Bernardo at his best.

Since moving to City, I think it’s fair to say, he hasn’t had the best of times. That’s partially down to the irresistible Kevin DeBruyne and David Silva, and partially because I think he has struggled a little.
He has scored a League goal for City, but that was after we had totally dismantled the opposition. He scored the seventh in a 7-2 victory against Stoke City.
Not only will minutes for Portugal give him some much-needed game time but, against Saudi Arabia and the USA, maybe restore some confidence too.
