He’s been given up on and run out of Liverpool, he’s constantly derided by his own national team fans and he’s usually not in the first 5 players you mention when you talk about the high-powered Manchester City offense.

Don’t look now though, Raheem Sterling has 10 goals already this season. He’s the forgotten man, not just by pundits and fans, but by opposing defenses as well. He shows up all over the pitch, many times where he’s least expected and is there to put the ball home in the back of the net.

Pep has given him the freedom to float and find his spots but most importantly he’s given him the confidence to blossom in to the player some people have always thought he could become.
