After a great start to his City career, Jesus has enjoyed his time off in Brazil. He also appeared in an international friendly against Argentina on June 9th, against fellow City player Nicolas Otamendi. In what sparked a huge debate amongst City fans, Otamendi accidentally struck Jesus in the face in an aerial duel with the young Brazilian. It appears as if it might have been intentional, but after numerous reports, it sounds like all is well between the two and Otamendi has apologised.

Nevertheless, it was a bit reckless from our center -back, especially against a club teammate. Jesus did miss the next friendly against Australia, but fortunately won’t require eye surgery, according to reports. 

Jesus should be good to go come July when our pre-season tour begins.

In other news, Jesus has been enjoying his vacation. He and Neymar have posted pictures together on social media with the caption of “Brothers.” Brazil and City fans will like this.
