Ederson Moraes

June 1st — Signs for Manchester City

After profiling him as the best Manchester City GK target, Ederson finally signed for City after what seemed like a month of Twitter and social media rumblings saying he was a City player. Nevertheless, City signed him for a reported fee of £35 million making him the most expensive goalkeeper in history (in pound sterling).

I truly can’t wait to see how the Brazilian fares as City’s newest No.1. He possesses all the qualities to be a superb, world-class keeper. He surely will need some time to adapt to our system, but undoubtedly is a great fit for our squad.

After completing his medical and officially signing for City, Ederson has not been up to much this summer. Besides making Twitter for his tattoos and following back Benjamin Mendy on Instagramthere is not much to report. An article from ESPN FC reported that Bravo was still favoured by Pep and could still contest for the No. 1 spot. Not much to go off of though; this article was most likely published since there is not much else to report on at the moment.

Come August, I fully expect Ederson to be our new No. 1 bar any injuries or other sorts of event.
