With 54 goals from 78 games, Romelu Lukaku has been a revelation for Inter Milan. The 28-year-old arrived from Manchester United back in 2019 and hasn’t looked back since then. Naturally, many top teams are impressed with the goal-scoring ability of the Belgian and are keeping an eye out for him in the summer. Manchester City have been linked with Lukaku in the recent past and Daily Mail understands that Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in signing the striker and will be competing for his signature with the former Premier League champions.

Manchester City have been linked with Erling Haaland as well. The 20-year-old was been the find of 2020 and is one of the brighter talents in European football.

It is understood that Lukaku being a former Manchester United player will not be a deciding factor if the deal between the Cityzens and Inter Milan does go through. Paris Saint-Germain have also been keeping an eye on the 28-year-old with Mauricio Pochettino interested in building a trio with Mbappe, Neymar and Lukaku. Having said that, it is also believed that bringing in Lionel Messi from Barcelona still remains a priority for the Parisians.

Sergio Aguero, the record goal-scorer of the Sky Blues is in the final year of his contract and it is very likely that the Argentine will walk out of the club as a free agent at the end of this season. There have been no indications from the club indicating their desire to renew the contract of their most successful player, ever.

Barcelona are said to be interested in signing Aguero at the end of this season in a desperate attempt to keep Lionel Messi at the club. Though the 33-year-old has publicly stated that he will take a decision on his future only at the end of this season, he is committed to bringing success at Barcelona this season.

The Cityzens have got a very crucial summer window coming up. It’ll be interesting to see who the Sky Blues sign.
