Edin Dzeko and Roma have agreed to personal terms and Manchester City‘s Bosnian striker will soon be leaving the club.

After being purchased from Wolfsburg in January 2011, Dzeko appeared in 189 matches for City, scoring 72 goals in all competitions.

This post will look back at some of his most memorable goals in a City shirt.

January 30, 2011: Dzeko opens his goalscoring account in the FA Cup, as he provides a late equalizer against Notts County in a 1-1 draw.

February 24, 2011: In the Europa League, Dzeko gets his first brace, slotting two goals past the Greek Aris Salonika as City wins the match 3-0 and advances to the round of 16 of the competition.

April 25, 2011: Dzeko scores his first Premier League goal at Ewood Park against Blackburn, propelling City to a 1-0 victory.

August 28, 2011: After starting the 2011-12 campaign with two goals in two games, Dzeko scores four goals in an incredible performance against Tottenham at White Hart Lane as City wins 5-1.

October 23, 2011: Dzeko contributes to City’s historic goal fest at Old Trafford with a brace, as City famously beats Manchester United in a 6-1 domination.

May 13, 2012: Dzeko scores what is easily his most important goal of his City career: the equalizer in City’s title deciding 3-2 win over QPR.

While Aguero’s winner will be the goal that is seen forever, it doesn’t happen if Dzeko doesn’t provide the headed equalizer from a corner in the second minute of stoppage time.

September 18, 2012: At the Santiago Bernabeu, Dzeko slots one past Iker Casillas in a huge Champions League group stage match against Real Madrid. City loses the match 3-2, but Dzeko’s goal is still a career highlight for him.

March 25, 2014: Dzeko gets his second brace in a Manchester Derby, as his two goals prove pivotal in City’s 3-0 win over the Red Devils at Old Trafford.

April 27, 2014: Just a few hours after Steven Gerrard‘s infamous slip, City takes command of the title race with a 2-0 win at Selhurst Park over Crystal Palace. Dzeko scores the opening goal just four minutes into the game.

May 4, 2014: Dzeko comes up clutch for City in their title pursuit again, scoring twice at Goodison Park as City beats Everton 3-2 in a huge away victory.

May 7, 2014: For the second time in less than a week, Dzeko gets a brace. This time it comes at home to Aston Villa in City’s penultimate match of the season, a 4-0 win.

March 1, 2015: At Anfield, Dzeko scores his last goal in a City shirt. He equalized the match against Liverpool at 1-1, but a lovely goal from Philippe Coutinho meant Dzeko’s last goal was in a losing effort.
